Welcome to my on-line resume. I grew up in the Midwest and graduated from Creighton Prep High School, and Creighton University with a BA degree in Journalism and Art in 1992. For the past 18 years I've worked as an international media professional, and business and travel have brought me to more than 18 countries and five continents.

The first five years of my career I worked in printing companies to learn the "hands-on" of print media, then continued as an art director, editor and copywriter for large corporations such as AAA Travel Agency while publishing a monthly entertainment newspaper. I was the art director for car and parenting magazines in California and Omaha, and was a publications specialist for the Omaha Chamber of Commerce.

In 1996 I traveled to Seoul, South Korea, to teach English while earning a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. The following year I went across the world to Santiago, Chile. I worked as a reporter, photographer and teacher at the North American Institute.

In 1998 I moved to Miami, Florida, where I was the marketing manager for the Historical Museum of Southern Florida. There I wrote and implemented a marketing plan that included print, TV, on-line, direct mail and outreach marketing. The following eight years I was a writer and editor for two international yachting magazines based in Ft. Lauderdale, a job that took me on writing and photography gigs across the globe. I also created an industry report and was quoted in the New York Times. Currently I'm a consultant working in Pensacola, Florida.
